Anodised dishes?

3 posts in this topic

Does anyone have any experience with anodising wheel dishes? I'd originally painted them because I want low maintenance but have recently been thinking about getting them anodised.

Is it a case of getting the metal polished first and then anodising them or would they just need sanding to a very smooth surface before the process?

Ideally I'd have gone stainless but it would make the wheels too wide so its not really an option.

Anodising will mirror whatever finish is on the wheels before they are processed so any marks or flaws will also be mirror'd. HTH

Arr right. So basically they want mirror polishing first & then anodising.

Cheers mate
