What offsets are your RSs Benny?

Providing you're within 5% rolling radius of the front you're fine. 2.4% is nothing to worry about.

215 35 16 Falkens are 2x as much as 195 45 15 Toyo Proxes

Hankook do the Ventus in 215 35 16. They're really good tyres and the tread pattern looks nice too.

The et on my rs's is et15 on the 9j but my fronts where et27 but where 7" but I have widened the dish to 8" so that et will have changed

I have the falkens on mine they look good and handle nicely

I used to always run Dunlop sp9000 but they have stopped making them which is shame Cus the side wall looked ace

I have tried loads of different tyres all with the same sizes and the worst for looks was toyo they looked like balloons

I'm buying 8.5 and 9's soon. If you only want slight stretch I think 215/35 all round is safest.. I think i'm gonna get 1/2'' smaller lips on the front and run 8 and 9 with 215/35 and 195/40 same as Bennys.. looks almost perfect IMO

I run 215-35-16 on my 8's and 9's.

Continentals out back and Dunlops up front!.

These tyre brands and sizes give exactly the same rolling radius from front to back.

if i ran the conti's up front and Dunlops out back then there is a difference in Rolling Radius!

There's my 2 penneth!

195-40-16 was far too much stretch on the 8's and made the car Poop! around corners!

even with the 215-35-16 there's not enough bite in my opinion, not if you want to drive it properly around country lanes LOL

Yeah I hear ya.. I have 215/45's now and will miss the extra rubber i'm sure... Although those hankooks seems to be raved about as very grippy for the cash so it might not be too bad.. I don't think you can buy either Conti's or Dunlops in that size now. I've only seen Falken 912's and Hankooks available in 215/35 16.

I think i'll buy a pair of Hankooks and try them on the 8.5's and 9's and measure the difference on the height gauge at work. Then order some thinner lips and measure them at 8'' too. Then see what 195/40's come in at on the 8's

i had the 195-40-16 on 8's at the front, they were stretched and had little to no grip round bends, or at least none to have any confidence in!

Yeah i don't really want to loose handling. Got the wheels now so i'll order 2 x 215/35 and see what the RR comes in on the 8.5 and 9's with they same tyre. Hoping I can squeeze them under the front arch's as 8.5

i have 215 40 16`s on my et15 9 inch Borbet B`s, Khumo ecsta sports, they grip like brown stuff to a blanket! the front tyres, the fronts sit dead in line with the arch line

Fitted tyres now so thought i'd post my findings and some pics of the stretch to give people an idea of what they look like. They're 8.5'' and 9'' with 215/35 16 Hankook Ventus S1. Measured the them on digital height gauge and the Rolling Radius difference works out to be 0.046%. Here's how the stretch looks:

8.5''

They are incredible! They make my Proxes seem like dithc finders!! Honestly the best tyres I have ever bought. I got 2 off a site called mytyres.co.uk (or similar) and 2 off a euro site called tyres-pnues-online.com (or similar) and were £10 cheaper for the second 2.. Both sites took around 2-3 days to deliver. Can't recommenr them enough, already told 2 mates to get them and both love them as well

£300 for 4 but then you'd have to get them fitted and balanced.. http://www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk/car-tyres-215-35-16.html

Here's a couple pics. Front needs to come down a lot so looks a bit shit but haven't got around to lowering it yet
