Alloy wheel refurbishment

10 posts in this topic

Has anyone got a recommendation for refurbing a set of alloys and powder coating? Preferably North West.

I've got a price of £65 +VAT each from Scuffed Alloys in Blackburn.

That's more the pricey end that you can get them done for. Had a few quotes at £35-£40 each.

Booked car in on a Friday. 4 x badly scuffed and scraped 18" R32 alloys in silver.

Dropped the car off Friday Morning. Train to work. Bus home.

Picked car up Saturday Morning. 4 x lovely looking refurb'd 18" R32 in anthracite.

£250. inc. re balancing.

Would use again.

Its not for me mate its for John - he spoke to The Wheel Specialist the Bear mentioned above - they quote something much more than £250. inc. re balancing for a straight 'german silver' finish on 4x 17" rims - I think the figure was something like 280 quid which sounds like an aweful lot to me?
