1. Hi guys my genuine G60 is up for sale due to lack of use. Original Spanish vehicle without sunroof (did have AC but the previous owner took it out to make space for a genuine Rallye intercooler). Arguably the best colour for a Mk2. Bumpers/arches/trim in near perfect condition as well as rubbers. Has been resprayed back in Spain with full picture documentation to prove, it also got a brand new bonded windscreen at the same time. Paint is still very vibrant, could do with some work to make perfect. But the car is very clean rust wise. The only spot on the corner of the passenger wing which is photographed. Ive owned the vehicle for coming on 2 Years. The previous owner worked in Spain and brought it over into the UK when he came back. Mileage is around 91000 miles. The car has minimal service history but it does still have the original service book which indicates the VIN, again this matches up with the car as well as the original bill of sale, again matching VINs. Also have the original Spanish plates which match up against the rear windscreen and again the service/original bill documentation. Engine wise the car is running Schrick cams, tappets, Stage 2 charger by Jabba 3500 Miles ago, smaller pulley, cambelt changed when the cams went in. Rallye intercooler, I have never seen oil temperature go above 104 degrees. Running a jetex back box (its loud) and decat. But do have a standard exhaust to go with car. The car is pretty quick! Could benefit from a map as it is running slightly rich. Chassis wise the car is running KW variant one coilovers. Been on for less than 100 Miles so pretty much brand new. A lot of components were changed, wheel bearings, track rods etc, top mounts, stainless brake hoses all round. Also have new discs and pads boxed for the future. Unmarked genuine BBS 15” wheels which originally came with the car. Interior wise the car is standard and in great condition, seats have virtually no bolster wear and are the non recaro red ulatraviolet pattern. Overall the car is in very good condition. Hard to find them in OEM condition. Bar a little paintwork this car would be a stunning vehicle. The car will also be sold with a few more items, vinyl for the rear boot lid, genuine logo for the rear panel, exhaust, new discs and pads etc. If this car does not sell for the right price it will be stored for future use. Located in Windsor. No timewasters or tyre kickers. Test drives only if valid insurance documentation is present. Price: £7750 ovno 07846289975. Thanks
2. I bought this last week, it is in fact a genuine G60. We found the history book along with other booklets in the compartment under the steering wheel. When we opened it up we saw the options code and it was listed as GTI G60, the VIN on the options sticker also matched that of the car. We also then luckily found the original bill of sale to the first owner and again this listed the VIN and it also stated a G60. Its a three owner car, First owner passed it onto his niece and was sold to the chap i bought it off, hes had it ten years and only selling to fund another project which was tucked away under covers in his aeroplane hangar. Car needs a bit of work, but everything checked out.
3. Ah thats a shame, I am based near Windsor Thanks
4. Henny thanks for the info, do you know any decent places which can help me with the map? Even the previous owner said he never got round to doing this Thanks
5. Hi guys, just bought a G60 and now looking into an engine rebuild as well as tune up. At the moment, it has schrick cams 268/276, 68mm pulley, stage 2 jabbasport charger, rallye intercooler, decat jetex stainless exhaust. What parts do I need to buy or work do I need to undertake to get it running a healthy 220bhp. Thanks!

7. I have for sale an absolutely stunning original Rallye G60 for sale. 5000 road going versions were built worldwide in order to use them in rallying and were all hand built in Belgium. Distinguishable by its box-flared wheel arches, this car has syncro four wheel drive along with a 1.8L G60 supercharged engine. This particular car is a 1992 J Reg, which was imported in 2000 and has covered a little over 82,000m (142,000km) with a part service history (Stacks of invoices showing money well spent in the right areas as well as every MOT). The G60 supercharger was serviced by G Werkes only 2000-3000km ago and is in good health and in general the car has covered very little mileage since 2007. The tornado red paintwork (arguably the best colour) is in fantastic condition having been treated to a full windows out respray, just take a look at the pictures! The condition of this car is a testament to its previous owners. The interior has been regularly cleaned showing minimal bolster wear for a 20+ year old car. The car is in original condition inside and out except for some KW Variant 1 coilovers. The car is MOT'd and TAX'd. The engine is tight, and very quick in terms of power to weight! This car is also very loud. Only come to view if you can appreciate such a car. Test drives will go out to serious buyers only, and you will still need to bring insurance documents etc. I will not entertain time wasters, tyre kickers or low-ballers. £6950 ono or px with a Diesel (VW/Audi or BMW) of the same value or money my way. 10.
yup, change the black temp sensor in the water flange on the front of the block... Should sort the problem out...
Cheers guys, anyone know where I can get hold of one from?
11. Okay so I just started the car up again, and the light does come on and then goes off, but the needle is obviously at fault...anybody know how I would fix this? Would it be worthwhile to change the temp sensor?
12. Hi guys, I have owned my Rallye for a bout 3 months, but only drove it yesterday since buying it as I have been busy at uni Anyway when I turn the key, the needle on the temp gauge moves straight to just over half way even though its not been driven and the engine is cold. This can't be normal can it? Also when I turn the car on is the light on the temp gauge supposed to light up in anyway? When I drive the car and it heats up the needle on the temp gauge moves close to the right, but does not touch the white marker. Any help on this would be appreciated
